A micro-site is a single page that supports initiatives such as marketing campaigns, single events or promotions.  They can be a holding page for a new (larger) initiative. 

They:

  • can respond to a call to action contained in advertising
  • act as an extension of a campaign with the same imagery, keywords and offer
  • can support online or offline campaigns
  • are more effective if they have a narrow focus
  • do not try and convey the complete range of services that a company might offer
  • increase campaign conversion rates as the viewer is not distracted or confused by other content
  • can be put in place while a full website is being developed
