Micro sites
A micro-site is a single page that supports initiatives such as marketing campaigns, single events or promotions. They can be a holding page for a new (larger) initiative.
They:
- can respond to a call to action contained in advertising
- act as an extension of a campaign with the same imagery, keywords and offer
- can support online or offline campaigns
- are more effective if they have a narrow focus
- do not try and convey the complete range of services that a company might offer
- increase campaign conversion rates as the viewer is not distracted or confused by other content
- can be put in place while a full website is being developed
