I was reading a discussion today about online forms and how invasive they are.
Imagine a store where the owner stood by the door and told you they had the most amazing shoes ever inside.
But to get in and have a look, you have to give him your name, address and shoe size!
You'd walk away, right?

Once you join Twitter, it doesn't take long before you realise that the Twitter.com interface isn't that useful once you get more than a few dozen followers.
After trying and quite liking TweetDeck (TD) for a while, I changed to Hootsuite which started as a Twitter account manager but has implemented integration with other platforms, including recently - Wordpress.

A woman in the US is suing Google for leading her (via Google Maps) onto a highway, where she got hit by a car reports Search Engine Land.
While the scenario is ridiculous to most reasonable people, it is an illustration of why you should put terms on your website, mainly to protect yourself from people who don't want to take responsibility for their own decisions.
This is particularly the case if you link to other sites or contain any information that could be considered 'advice'.
