You may need to add text that is the title of the PDF to link to, for example “Great Banana Cakes in 10 minutes”

3. Click on the Insert Link button

4. This will open the Advanced link editor

5. Next to the URL field there is a browse icon – click on it and browse to find the pdf that you uploaded via the media manager.

6. In the attributes window at the bottom of the window, select the target to open in this window or open in new window depending on which you want it to do.

7. Give the link a suitable title - this aids search engine visibility.

8. Click on Insert

Tip: After linking to a PDF, it is customary to put next to the link “xyz kb PDF” to let people know they are opening a PDF file and how big it is.  If you have an Adobe PDF Reader icon image you can add that also.
