Do NOT resize images within your CMS, otherwise you will slow your site down.
1. Position your cursor at the spot in your content where you want the image to be placed.
Click on the add/edit image button.
This will display the Image Manager window.

If the image you want to add to the page has not previously been used on the site, you'll need to upload it first:
2. Click on the Upload button - this is the middle button on the right hand side of the Image Manager window above the details pane.
3. In the Upload box, click on the Add button.
4. Locate the image file you want to upload
5. Select it and click on open so that you are returned to the Upload box with the file name appearing in the Queue.
6. Click on Upload.
The image should appear in the Image Manager window sitting behind the Upload box currently displayed.
5. Click on Cancel to exit the Upload box.
The image will appear in the details pane on the right of the Image Manager.
6. A list of all images available is listed in the middle pane of the Image Manager window.
7. Select the file name of the image you wish to add to your content. The details will show in the right hand pane.
8. At the top of the Image Manager window, the properties associated with the image will be displayed.
9. Add a description of your image in the Alternate Text field - this enhances search engine visibility, so say something meaningful about the image but try and use pre-defined keywords.
Do NOT set the alignment to anything other than 'not set' - you set this in the next step below
10. Set the alignment, by entering a 'class' into the Classes field on the advanced tab :
OR select available image formats from the drop down Class List if they have been set.
Note - these options are pre-determined by the site design
11. Click on Insert to place the image in the content.
