Why doesn't it look exactly like the design?
The finished design will not look exactly as it did on paper. This is for a number of reasons:
- An image (printed or on screen) is usually a jpg or other graphics file type. A website is displayed using html. This is different technology so will inevitably look slightly different.
- The design was likely developed before all the final content was available. This affects screen length (for example) and different images may be used.
- Colours displayed on a screen cannot look exactly like they do on paper. Colours on a screen are made from light, whereas colours on a page are made from ink.
- Printed material often has a much higher resolution that a screen.
We will be able to explain any differences, so if you are concerned feel free to ask.
