This morning I signed up for updates from Seth Godin's Domino Project. An interesting one if you follow the publishing industry.
But that's not what struck me.
Usually when you sign up for updates you hand over your email address.
It's a separate action to follow that individual or company on Twitter, Facebook etc. Not this time...check it out:
In this case, I can sign up for updates using my preferred communication channel - for me, Twitter.
This is a great example of integration, allowing your audience to decide what works for them.
