Online Directory List
We've compiled a list of suggested online directories as part the 'first stage' of link development for your website. We don't guarantee a result from listing on these sites - link building is one tactic in a range that contribute to search optimisation.
Online directories are a place to start because they will contribute something, even if some would debate how much. We have evidence that our clients do get traffic from these sites, so at the very least listing can't hurt!
These are listed in no particular order.

There are few international directories listed here because we feel that the amount of benefit you would get from overseas directories is so small that it's probably not worth the time and effort. If you want to go global, there are other optimisation strategies likely to get you further.
